Each year I put together homemade Christmas hampers for family and friends. It started way back when we lived in France and grew most of our own food. Some of the chutneys and jams I made using seasonal crops from our garden would be put by for Christmas markets and the rest were for the hampers. Nearer to Christmas I would be busy baking and making honeycomb to add the final touches to the hampers.
